Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of The US female Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor exercises. For the balance beam she was awarded the bronze medal. She became the only American to be awarded the most Olympic medals. In 2016, she and her teammate Gabby Doug were the first Americans who won back-toback golds at team events. She also won silver medals at the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast stopped for three years gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams in 2 World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age two, and her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly is an active member for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who died from cancer. She is planning to pursue the field of fashion, and would like to expand her line of signature leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce is a novel she is writing will come out this year.
