 Nathan John Feuerstein was born on March 30, 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American rapper, singer , and songwriter. The artist has released two EPs with Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and"[3and a self-titled EP released in 2014. Mansion was his first major label release. The second album of his studio, Therapy Session, which was released April 22, 2016 and peaked at the top of the list, number 12 in the US Billboard 200. The albums have garnered many accolades, including: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF became a mainstream hit with Perception in 2017. The album peaked in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the U.S. and was also a top 10 world-wide hit. The Search, his sequel to the album that became a hit, also was a commercial hit. Feuerstein stated that rap was the only way to escape from life in his youth. Feuerstein recorded songs on the Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals with one mic while rapping on in the other. Feuerstein independently released Moments, the first album of his studio album on November 29, 2010. The debut single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith was the songwriter and producer for the song. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and became fascinated by his music. His first extended play, I'm Free was released on May 2 in 2012 by Feuerstein, with production assistance from Profitt. The playlist included nine tracks which included "Alone". The EP also included an exclusive rendition of "Alone", featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist announced the release of the self-titled extended track, NF. However, Feuerstein separated from the label in the middle of a disagreement. Production of NF was subsequently delayed. NF did, however, feature an original track "Only One" which featured Shuree Wilkins on the compilation album by the label Move Vol 1. On November 4 2013 he dropped the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt made a return to the track with vocals performed by Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
